So far......

First, I have not forgotten that Pat has tagged me. I'll get to that soon.

Ohhh that reminds me... Sorry Gina I wish I could stop posting, but don't worry, you'll catch up... and oh the Swiss kid actually wrote me a note! I'll talk about that soon too!

I think this is going to be one of those weeks that I post like a dozen times I guess. There is so much going on.

So with regards to the interview-- it is now between me and one other candidate. My biggest obstacle, is as always, my honesty.

I honestly can't live on what they pay so I will continue my other job.
I honestly feel that sometimes we think to small and we need to look what others are doing.
I honestly believe that there are a good number of people in the community who are afraid of me, and that I may take over the town.
I honestly just might!

Anyway they want me to create a marketing plan to increase membership. Ya, I can do that. Hmmmm power point? Print adds? Maybe You Tube!!!!! First off, I need to get out thank you notes.

Anyway.... then the other good news.

My awesome son received the roll of young Scrooge in the production of A Christmas Carol at the Opera House!!!!!

The really funny thing is this: Before we went to audition, he asked me what roll I thought he should play. I said with out a doubt, young Scrooge. When we got there, the only young male rolls the were auditioning for were the two Cratchit sons.

Yesterday, when the call came in and the message said young Scrooge.... I just about flipped! He will also do several other walk on parts. Very cool!!!
I really think it was that littlecockney accent that got him the roll. He will do both cockney and British--- wow!!!! Yes, I am impressed.

Okay -- my mental health day will be Wednesday. I had a dream that an ex saw me downtown and just fell all over me-- you know the how good I looked and how he cant believe I'm going to be 40 and how he missed out--

To be honest, it would be nice if it happened. I feel very taken for granted at home as of late. I know I have a great family and a husband who worships me-- just in his own way. So, it would be nice-- wont happen but it was still a cool dream-- and if it does happen--- I'm buying a lottery ticket! I may bring my Tarot cards with me down town. Nothing attracts strangers like a deck of Tarot cards at a coffee shop.

Today there are meetings and painting and cleaning and work on the car and stuff. I want this place spotless so i have no guilt about my day out.

Fantastic news about little Z. I knew when I saw him singing "consider yourself" that he was destined for big things. And I also noticed that he can do a mean cockney accent.

Congratulations to your son and his mother of course.

Sometimes when our families seem to be taking us for granted...its then they love us the most..but we have to give them a reminder of how wonderful we really are...

I am happy at 53 and wouldn't want to be doing the 40's thingie for all the tea in China... too hard

The poor Cubs...

Poor Lou Pinella. He is now part of the curse for pulling a good pitcher after eighty-five pitches only to have the guy he brought in give up the winning hit.

The poor, poor Cubs...
