This working for a living sure is different. I have been getting up at 5 and now I have something to do other than surf porn... err ... umm... the web...
Well, the job is going pretty well. There is quite a bit to learn and I am doing my best to soak it all in. The great thing about the job is it ends. It is not like working in real estate... I don’t take it home with me. I really do like that.
I have had to cut back on my volunteering.
I have quit -- rotary, blood drive organization, & the main street board of directors.
I still participate in AFS exchange, CASA (advocacy for foster kids), Sunday school, and Music Booster.
I am going to add one more thing to my plate. Tomorrow, I will start training to run a half marathon. Yep. I don’t have as much time to drink, so I guess I'll run.
Oh now for my to do list... just so I know what I want to write about next

Yep... I'm going to get to those things, but not right now. Right now, I'm getting some rest. And I am still reading your blogs. More lurking than commenting as of late.. but I'm watching you!

Two things in this blog made my throat clench shut and my gut twist up: half-marathon and ex-husbands. [shudder]
The military put me off of running for the rest of my days. Come to think of it ... it put me off of husbands, too.
