We interrupt this regularly schedule blog for breaking news
Today is my two year blog anniversary.
I can’t believe it either.
I was looking back and two years ago life was good, really good. I had a strong faith in God, work was going really well, and I wasn’t nearly as sad as I find myself some days.
As I read some of my very first posts I’ve discovered some things.
1. My relationship with God was much better when I started bogging and when work was busy. Yeah, I said it. It’s easy when things are good, it’s hard to trust when things are bad.
2. When I started blogging, the only people who knew about this blog were, well, my mom. I had a few anonymous comments that were so encouraging, I would love to know who wrote them. (Like the person who said if you need me to be your God, then I'm your God--it was something I would usually say to people, so whoever said that, thank you!)
I know I have a few lurkers out there, and I like to think that what I have to say has some meaning and can occasionally provide inspiration or at least controversy.
3. My second entry was really my first entry. They both showed up on the same day, but I really didn’t know what I was doing. It was my twenty year reunion, and they didn’t print my bio in the book, so I printed it online. If you want to read it you can find it here. I was really upset it didn't get in the book because it was positive and creative and all that. Actually some of my old posts are really very creative. Gee....what happened?
4. My blog sphere rocks. My readers are the best and the folks that I read on a daily or at least weekly basis are incredible. I guess if you stopped reading, I’d keep blogging. But it is nice to know you’re out there.
So lets all raise our glass and have a toast--
Antoine de Saint-Exupery said, 'Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction.'
I love blogging and I love you guys ... I look forward to the road a head with all of you. Thanks for being here and enjoy the party.

And P.S. - I just read your 20th reunion bio. They really missed out by not printing it. You have reasons to be proud.
