Shhhhh

My very good blogger friend, Dan, commented on my last entry and asked me a question

...what the heck is shhhh?

Ok, it's time I've come clean. This isn't my only blog.

I was faithful for over a year. I had only this blog. And things were good. They are still good... Heck, they are wonderful! Who am I kidding, this blog rocks!

I mean lets face it, I have a great readership, wonderful comments, and sometimes even insiteful feed back with this blog>

The location is good. The atmosphere is pleasant. I find this spot attractive and all and yes, okay I'll say it-- I love this blog.

So now one needs to ask, why would I go astray? Why go and create another blog when this blog has been so good to me. When it gives me everything I could want. When it satisfies in ways I could have only dreamed of a year ago, why start a new?

I don't have any really good reasons, except that, if you notice that blog is set to private. It is a place that I can write, that no one can read.

Many of those posts do end up here one way or another, but some things need to get out, and really don't belong in the public domain.

Like what?

Well.... I don't know. I've only posted on there three times, so far and two of those posts ended up here, so it really isn't any big deal

Well unless your the type of person who cant stand a locked door and needs to see what is beyond it. Then I guess that would be bad.

Oh, I also have another identity out in blog land. It is very dark. I use it mostly for poems and one line negative comments. I think it is left over from my teen age angst. I don't have that linked. I wont link it. I am, well not embarrassed by it, I just feel I needed a place where I could put down some dark thoughts without people calling the suicide line for me and I could write some poems with out people laughing (not that you ever did) And I can write sexy things about sexy people, and no one will know it's really me (I hope) And maybe the government will even leave my family alone if I put some stuff there instead of here.

But you probably won't find that one. It's not that it is hidden, its just not what most blogger who visit here look for in a blog. And I try not to post comments with it.

Anyway Dan, there is your answer. Shh is my personal journal that I can actually read.

Jannis- the shhh blog is my personal journal-- you really don’t want to know me "that" well; it could get scary for some one so young and impressionable. The other one, well you'd have to find it I guess

Hope to see you soon
Hey what is your family's email back home? I have some pictures and a short video I'd like to send them.

Mouse, that sounds like an excellent idea! I may have to do one myself ... sort of a testing ground for posts, and maybe even for template manipulation and such.

Thanks for the idea! ;)

I wanna see the dark blog! Leave me a hint somewhere. Please?

Citymouse said...

Dan, it's been working out well for me :)

Sling, ya, its the kind of stuff that would scare most of my regular readers. Not my usual pg13 stuff. I consider myself very positive, but everyone needs a place to dump their evil trash :)

Whim, I dont think i could give a hint. It's out there, is simple it is connected to me. If I gave a hint, which I kind of do in the next few sentences, everyone will know it.
If you discover it, please dont give away my secret. I am not ashamed of this alter ego, I just want to keep her anonymous. If you think you have found her and want to email me, Ill confirms it’s her—but I’ll deny it all in public!

I respect a woman's need for privacy.
You can keep your secret, I'm not going to invade your private world.

Unlike these other blogheads, I am a gentleman.

Interesting. Who'd a thunk it? So, why keep a private blog instead of just a doc?

Citymouse said...

so I can journal if I dont have my own computer with me

I can understand that completely. I journal my most private thoughts in Word because I really don't trust this thing called the internet. I'd be horrified if I had it out there & someone cracked the code, lol.
