So we attend both high school reunions. One for a school of 6000 and one for a school of about 400. There were some major city mouse country mouse issues and here they are-
Men
The country men looked much younger to spite being 5 years older! It must be the lifestyle, the slow pace, the fishing and fresh air-- well at least that is what I'm guessing. The men at the city reunion were heavier and had less hair. Funny, they didn't dress as nice either.
Women
Well the women didn't look noticeable younger, or thinner -- but they didn't dress nearly as well as the city women. If cloths make the man then they are an intricacy part of the substance and being of a woman. I'll tell my daughter to be sure she shops in the city for any important event.
Clicks
After 20 years almost all the clicks melted away at the city reunion. The school being as big as it was we all struggled to try and find a common tread among those who gathered together that evening. We would look at the name tags and ask about classes and complement each other on how great we looked and asked with sincere interests about what we were up to. As for the country kids-- well they still seemed stuck in a high school kind of mode. Very clicks.
All and all a good couple of parties and some lessons learned.
