Elections

I am really tired of the idea that cutting capital gains and providing tax breaks for businesses will make more jobs.

You see, although I am lucky to have a job, I have seen the opposite.

My company is pay less in taxes -- payroll taxes.  Although they have been profitable for the last 3 years, it has been done on the backs of the workers.  In my department alone, there are 20 less employees.  Our work load is up even though the dollar amount of the orders are down.  This translates into more work and stress for our department.  It is something everyone feels.  I know my supervisors and managers feel it too.  If someone is out sick, it effects the entire department because we are short staffed and the hours have been cut.

So, if you think that a bigger tax break would encourage the companies to hire more workers you are sadly mistaken.  The rich will get richer.

And by the way, why does someone who can buy a 9 million dollar house want a job that only pays $250,000 a year.  We have a problem America!
