My Temp Job

My temp job isn't too bad. It pays, so that is the good thing. I keep calling the other temp agencies in hopes to find something. I have signed on for some office software training, I think that will help too.

However, I do help the writers stay on strike 'cause this job will give me a great many ideas for comedy scripts.

I work with 4 interesting people

The good boy, 27, good family, baby face, has constant guilt, and is always trying to do the right thing.

The immigrant, fresh out of high school, looking to make big bucks, grew up somewhere else but hates all other immigrants.

The party kid, works hard to make money to drink and get laid.

I don't care guy. Top in sales, lies to the customers, treats people how they treat him (reactive) but has a real soft spot for kids. I told him he needs to go back to school and be a math teacher.

Everyone is very nice to me. The job is simple, but it will only last until Dec 31. I need to see if I can find some other work.

The kids are home due to ice storms.

I signed up for some online training with another temp agency. I can be certified in MS soon, if I put my mind to it. 240 hrs x 4 courses???. Well, I already know the basics, so I am hoping 2/ 3 hours per day should do a world of good. Plus, I can use these certifications to earn college credit! I can test out of some of the courses at my local community college! Earn my degree. Yep, I have big dreams.
