Many of you remember back in August, I received two great big exciting blessings
1) My wonderful exchange student who I will just now refer to as my Swiss Son.
2) A scholarship to a leadership training program that would last the year
It is really odd how the different worlds I live in run parallel to one another. I am a firm believer that nothing happens with out reason.
i.e.... Swiss Son would stay for 10 months
My program would last 10 months
During Swiss Son's time here in the states, I have encouraged him to do a few things that he wouldn't necessarily do at home. Now granted, he did these things, I don't want take anything away from him... "he" is the one who goes out of his comfort zone... I just sometimes find interesting things for him to do like
try out as a Christian Rock VJ
enter a gospel idol contest
sing in an Elizabethan group
use paints, chalk, well... anything other then pencil... when drawing
Here is where the parallel life starts up again... for my last class I was asked to step out of my comfort zone... way out...
and into a burning building...
more to come
