Have you ever noticed that all woman on television or in the movies who are Real estate agents are portrayed as ruthless sluts.

I thought about at one time while watching American Beauty. Annette Bening plays a woman who is determined to have her way and is willing to sleep her way to the top



And what about Edie on Desperate Housewives? She is self made, knows what she wants, and is a total whore. She loves to be bad. Some reputation for a Real Estate agent. And just so everyone is clear on this, there is no way you can show a house waring 3 1/2 inch heals. Yea, we'd all like to think we can but it is just not going to happen. And if as a real estate agent you ever had a shirt cut down to the there, most of the woman would tell their husbands that they need to find a new Agent.


And if you think this whole things ends as a woman ages-- well your wrong there too. How about Holland Taylor? Yep, successful slut.


As for me, I'm not nearly as slutty (although I secretly wish I was sometimes) and I spend more time at church then I do at cocktail parties.

The image is interesting. If a woman has money -- she must be easy --- or maybe people just hope she is so they can sleep with her. If a woman is success she must be a bitch-- that is what people say to themselves to justify the fact that this woman won't give them the time of day.

Maybe I am a ruthless slut on the inside-- could it be? Maybe I am hated for my beauty and success. Maybe that is why I didnt get that polical appointment-- too much hate for my type. Beautiful, successful, confident!

Or maybe I have to stop watching so much television. Boy-- do I hate this down turned market!
