Hello my friends. 

I respect your 2nd amendment rights; however, under the Bush administration we had a ban on certain firearms.  I think it is a GOOD idea-- to get back to where we say everyone should have a right to own a gun but  we need to agree that some guns should not be in circulation.  I know I am in the minority -- especially in McHenry County.  And just like you don’t want the government in this issue, there are issues I don’t want the government in, so we agree more than we disagree – however, I will speak and I will write to those elected officials who will vote on this law.  I agree to disagree with you, and I will agree to let the majority rule.  Let's think about what is best for all and do what is right in the long run.
