Who would have thougth

As the world waits and watches history, I think back to a day in 2007, under a bridge and a young Swiss boy who had an idea.

I had no idea then what would be happening tomarrow.

We live in an exciting time my friends. 60 year ago this would not have happened and 100 year ago, I could not have helped it happen. We have come so far in such a short period of time, and yet we have so much further to go.

I think what really charges me about President Obama, is the fact that when I truly look at his life, I know --- it could be me, it could be you.

The most powerful person in my life was my grandmother--- as was his. He saw things most kids don't see, and so did I. I am excited to think he will lead us, and I am humbled to think that it isnt always about money --- sometimes its about the people who give that money. Sometimes it's about people willing to work and share. Some times, it really is about each on of us doing something to make a great change.

I know it is going to be rough the next 4 years--- it is already rough in so many ways. But truth be told, we do live in the land of oppotunity and the land of dreams. Maybe I am sweeping the streets today, and maybe tomarrow the ticker-tape parade on that street will be for me and mine.

Turly, it hasnt happend very often in the past 8 years-- but today I am greatful my grandparents immigrated here --- and I am poroud to say we are making history -- history for the HUMAN race!

Apologies ... w-a-y too many typos in my first attempt at commenting!

It is indeed history in the making. Most notable history.
