Project continued / spring

Well, I'm still working on the project. I have a lot of people to schedule so I can get a move on this. I am hoping to film in April, May and June and edit in August and September.

I have attended some story telling seminars and I tell ya, I really want to change careers. I want to be a public speaker. I want to motivate those around me. I want to retell the stories that have touched me. I don't know when this will happen, but I got a feeling... And you know how that can be.

I am trying to help the kids with goal setting. They are reluctant. It happens.

I wish there was like 30 hours in a day. I'd spend the extra 6 with the kids. The are so great and they are so busy. Sometimes I wonder if we should chuck it all and just do nothing. What do you think? They really love their activities, but maybe we need some time off. Well at least summer is coming! Spring break is next week. My friends are coming in from out of town. It should be a good time, but it is for a funeral-- so not so fun.

Well, dishes, take pictures, work, organize, sandwiches, it's a day!

I sure could use to see the sun. The birds are all out at 5:00 am, but clouds all day, and even some snow. The birds are so loud. There is a woodpecker that announces the morning -- she'll say "hi" with her rat-a-tat-tat when I get the morning paper. And all the robins.

I wrote a poem about a robin in the 4th grade. It was published in the school news paper. It was such a big deal to me. I remember my mom and I were talking about Mr. Mrs. And Ms. I really liked the whole Ms. Thing so I addressed my letter Dear Ms. Robin. I don't remember all of it, but it basically started with some passe small talk (ie how are you things are good here etc.) I remember I ended it when you come back we'll have some-thing or other and worms, worms, worms! Ya, I was in 3rd or 4th grade.

Funny how stuff comes back to you. I had to teach a hula dance last weekend too. I learned "pearly shells in the second grade from Christine Tukia (sp). I got to teach it at a hula teamed party. It was fun. It all comes back to ya... I really like that now that I'm getting older, I remember more of the good than the bad.

Hey you remember the poem, ain't that something. Yes, speaking as an old lady you do remember the good times more than the bad. I think it to keep our sanity(sp).
